A Sick Day for Amos McGee is a sweet tale of friendship.  Amos is a friendly zookeeper that always makes time to visit the animals.  One day he gets sick and doesn't make it to work.  He gets a surprise, because the animals come to visit him.  This book is beautifully illustrated and teaches a great lesson....friendship.  A great read for all ages.
