Audio in the Classroom
Record audio or upload mp3 >> Vocaroo is a neat tool, because it is so user friendly! No signing up and having yet another password to try and remember. The one drawback that I noticed was that you can't edit. You record, listen and either keep it or retry. I had to retry several times, because I get nervous. Using a tool like this in class will require some practice, but I think it would be well worth it. I do think my students would enjoy using this tool or perhaps audiopal (just 60 seconds) for summaries/recommendations. I have found that you can tell a student that a particular book is a good one, but they like to get confirmation from a peer that it is indeed a good book.

Amy this is such a cool tool! One thing I could see using it for in the classroom is for students who are absent. We could post on a class blog assignments that are due. I know some schools do this through their school website, but I like the idea of having one individually.
