Yay!  This one worked, too!  I think I like Tagxedo better than Wordle, because of the shapes!  This would be a cute poster!

My First Blog Ever!

Wow!  I never thought that I would be a blogger, but here I am giving this a try for my classes at ODU.  I chose pink for my background, because I just like pink!  I won't promise that it will stay this color.  As I learn more about blogging, making posts, and adding information to my page I may change it up a bit. Although I hope to keep my page simple, because according to Garr Reynolds in Presentation Zen Design, "simplify as much as you can-- but no more." (2014, p. 17)  He also states that you should "adopt a beginner's mind", well I have no problems with that one since I am a beginner. (2014, p. 14)  When selecting my font, I decided to go with Helvetica, because it is an oldie but goodie.  Garr Reynolds states "although not new-- it is actually refreshing in its simplicity and neutrality." (2014, p. 46)
